The Young Fellaz Brass Band continued on its successful tour of Turkey with an Independence Day performance at the official residence of the U.S. Ambassador to Turkey, Francis J. Ricciardone. Ambassador Ricciardone and his staff welcomed the band to the capital city of Ankara, where they entertained the crowd of about three thousand with a high energy performance. The show was a mix of traditional New Orleans music mixed in with their special brand of funk, R&B and hip hop.
It didn't take long before the crowd was dancing and clapping along to the music.
The band was asked to do three encores! As the crowd left the party after a beautiful evening, one after another they stopped and congratulated the band members on the performance, and posed for pictures.
